The High Performer...

In search for a fish that could make your life easier on waves that maxes out your twin keel or double wing fishes but would still work unreal in small surf. I started eliminating the beak nose. tweaking the rocker and foil, giving it the shortboard rail and bottom contour along with a few other things. This little guppy was board.
A fish that surfs like a shortboard but still has the glide of a fish platform.

Double Wing 757...

Inspired by Rich Pavel's "speed dialer". The double wing fish has evolved and progressed through out these years by a number of great craftsmen around the world. All have its own unique twist to this design.

I have tested and tuned my version at the long point breaks of Malibu California and countless waves around the globe. Pushing the limits to where and what this board can do on a wave. The endless maneuverability will take you to its glide to speed....

Thank you to the fine crew at Moonlight Glassing for the amazing glass job.

The tool of choice...

A good friend and fellow shaper turned me back to the darkside. I bought a skill 100 to find out what the hype is about this golden tool. I spent 10 minutes on it and placed it back in the box and sold it to Mr. Pavel. I hated the thing.

After some days in Portugal shaping I convinced myself to give this tool a whirl. I ended up trying a modified version of skill 100. I quickly fell in love with it.

After years of using my trusty Clark modified planer, I eventually let it go and replaced with another skill 100. I was lucky enough to find one in great mechanical condition but physically it looked a little beat. Few hours of creativity from Scott Seiver. This came into my hands. Ive been using this amazing tool since then....

Thanks to DJ for turning back into these planers and Scott Seiver for looking at this as a great canvas to put his amazing creativity on.
