Mr. Steven Lippman

This was from a couple of weeks ago somewhere in LA/Ventura County. Its always a pleasure to grab a few frames of someone that shoots for a living... and someone that does it darn good too! Mr. Lippman is a stand up guy both in and out of the water! Ive always admired his work! I am super stoked to see this shot in his blog!!

Halloween fun!

Not much of a surf post here but all these kidos surf and rip! You will find them somewhere in the hidden neighborhoods in Malibu.

Since Zack's house was the the spot to be  for the neighborhood  kids we decided to take the skateboard and Camera out.  These kids made me laugh so hard! Good times groms!

Post offshore fun!

I avoided the last offshore day due to several reasons but i got up early the next day to meet up with Warm Jet and his buddy Chris. Darn fun with no one out! we got this place all to our selves! I wish its always uncrowded when doing water shots, it makes things much easier!

Enjoy!

of course all sessions are not perfect....

The Carlita Special...

Apologies for the lack of posts. Its been an odd week for work. At least ive put in some time in the water. Now my body hurts and I need to make some money...

Heres Carla's new board, 9'2 x 22 7/8 x 2 7/8s triple stringer pintail aka The Carlita Special.
I shaped this 2 weekends ago knowing that i might be spending some time in the shaping room. This is my first triple stringer blank I've shaped and guess what. Yes its a major pain in the ass! BUT this wont be the last! I actually enjoyed it! I think i will make a double stringer stringer log for my self soon.

watch my spray mom!

I was browsing though my photos this morning and these 2 shots caught my attention. I looked closley and I could not believe how much spray these guys were throwing, mind you this was hmm maybe 2-3 ft Malibu at best.   Spray throwers are Chad Eastman and Yves Bright. 2010 Malibu Invitational

Practice makes perfect

Zack took the trash out, vacuumed and swept the shop yesterday... He got to give my trusty skil a go!
Not too shabby for a first timer! He'll be working on this blank in next few weeks! Super stoked for him!
